How to boil eggs?

Eggs, one of the most versatile cooking ingredient, and is used all over the world in different ways. Be it cakes, cookies, curries, omelet, eggs easily adapt to different recipes. All over the world, eggs are always part of breakfast and in different varieties. Yet, when it comes to boiling them, we make some mistake. Either the yolk doesn’t come out the correct way or it gets difficult to remove the egg-shells. If you are one of those people who suffer with either of these, no worries, here is the solution:

Step 1: Do not add eggs directly in cold/room temperature water. Let the water boil on high.
Step 2: Lower the flame.  Add the eggs.

Soft yolk:
Boil eggs for 4-5 minutes.
Medium yolk:
Boil eggs for 7-8 minutes.
Hard yolk:
Boil eggs for 9-10 minutes.

Step 3: Drain, cool in ice water. Peel and enjoy.
